An advanced workshop focusing on mediating complex civil disputes through interactive activities and practice.
Civil cases at the circuit level often involve working with attorneys, support people, and multiple disputing parties. This training will focus on expanding the mediator’s skillset to include advanced strategies and techniques of negotiation, as well as planning and preparation for agreement writing.
*This is a specialized course and must have at least 4-6 participants registered to take place.
**This course is certified by the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia. However, please note that mere attendance at this training does not guarantee successful completion of the course for mediation certification purposes. Prerequisite(s): Basic Mediation Training
Mode: Interactive, Synchronous Zoom Meeting
Requirements: In order to participate in this online class you must have a computer with a camera and microphone as well as a strong, secure internet connection.
If you miss any portion of this training, the trainer may not be able to provide you with a completion certificate. Any missed time must be approved by the FairField Center. If the time missed can be made up outside of class time, there will be a $75 charge per hour fee for one on one instructor time.
