This training will look at the values and principles involved in restorative justice; the impact of crime on victims, offenders, and communities and provide instruction on the conferencing process. It will also provide hands-on experience in preparing for and conducting the conferencing process.
*This course is certified by the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Supreme Court of Virginia. However, please note that mere attendance at this training does not guarantee successful completion of the course for mediation certification purposes. Location: Asbury United Methodist Church – 205 S Main St, Harrisonburg, VA 22801
Requirements: If you miss any portion of this training, the trainer may not be able to provide you with a completion certificate. The FairField Center must approve any missed time. If the missed time can be made up outside of class time, there will be a $75 charge per hour fee for one-on-one instructor time.
